What Is the Mythic Shop?
The Mythic Shop is a separate tab in the League of Legends client store that sells exclusive cosmetics for Mythic Essence (ME) instead of RP. It's the only place (alongside the Sanctum) to get Prestige skins, Mythic skins, and Hextech skins — none of these are ever sold for RP directly. Since ME can't be bought with real money, everything in the Mythic Shop has to be earned through play.

How to Earn Mythic Essence
Mythic Essence can't be bought directly with RP — it has to come from play, loot, or the battle pass. The Sanctum (opened with Ancient Sparks) is by far the most reliable source.

FAQ: Mythic Shop Questions
Can I buy Mythic Essence directly with RP?
No — Mythic Essence can only be earned through play (Sanctum, chests, leveling, events) or the paid battle pass track. It's never sold directly for real money.
When does the Mythic Shop reset?
The official weekly reset is every Thursday at 00:00 UTC — use the live countdown above to see exactly how much time is left based on your own clock. Different sections (Featured, Rotating, Weekly, Daily) reset on different cadences from that same anchor time.
Do Mythic skins ever come back after leaving the shop?
Yes — Mythic and Prestige skins get "unvaulted" periodically into the Rotating section, though at a slightly higher ME cost (125 ME) than their original debut price (100 ME).
What's the difference between Mythic, Hextech, and Prestige skins?
Mythic skins are a distinct rarity tier sold for ME. Hextech skins share the same crystalline visual theme and are also ME-exclusive. Prestige skins are gold/white-and-gold variants of existing skins, usually tied to a special event or milestone.
